In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Plymouth is offering 1 x £10,000 scholarship per country to students in Ghana, Kenya or Thailand applying for postgraduate taught courses in the following eligible subjects:

MSc Data Science and Environmental Intelligence.
MSc Environmental and Engineering Geology.
MSc Sustainable Aquaculture and Fisheries.
MSc Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Biology.
MSc Artificial Intelligence.
MSc Civil Engineering.
MSc Coastal Engineering.
MSc Cyber Security.
MSc Data Science and Business Analytics.
MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
MSc Mechanical Engineering Design.
MSc Medical Engineering.
MSc Offshore Renewable Energy.
MSc Offshore Renewable Energy Engineering.
MSc Robotics.
Kenya and Thailand
Any postgraduate taught programme.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship at the University of Plymouth you must:
be a passport holder of one of the eligible countries listed above;
have an outstanding academic record (e.g. 1st class degree holder or equivalent) – this is determined by our reviewing your transcripts and applying a grade comparison tool from Ecctis;
meet our English language requirements for the programme of application;
have an unconditional / conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth for one of the programmes listed above;
Applications open on 6 November 2023 and close on 31 May 2024.

The International Undergraduate Gold Scholarship aims to recognise academic achievement for undergraduate international students in the School of Psychology.
Scholarship value: £4,000 off your tuition fees in year one.
To recognise continual academic achievement, you may also receive:
10% off the successive year's tuition fee if an overall grade of 60% or above is maintained.
20% off the successive year's tuition fee if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.
One student from the Caribbean region will be offered a scholarship worth 50% off their year one tuition fees.
To recognise continual academic achievement, they may receive 50% off the successive year's tuition fee, if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.
To be eligible you must
have an outstanding academic record.
meet our standard English language requirements.
have an unconditional/conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth which you have accepted as your firm choice by 31 May 2024.
complete a scholarship application form and submit this through UKESC by 31 May 2024.
The Undergraduate International Student Scholarship will be offered automatically, providing you meet the eligibility criteria. A separate application will not be required.
Scholarship value: £2000 off your tuition fees in year one.
To recognise continued academic achievement, you may also receive:
10% off the successive years tuition fee if an overall grade of 60% or above is maintained.
20% off the successive years tuition fee if an overall grade of 70% or above is maintained.
