This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, UEA is offering four GREAT Scholarships worth £10,000 in the following countries:

India
Nigeria
These awards are competition based and worth £10,000 each. They cannot be combined with any other UEA award.
Eligibility
The GREAT Scholarships (Bangladesh, Ghana & Nigeria) will be open to all passport holding nationals of the chosen countries who hold an offer of a place on a UEA postgraduate taught degree for September 2024 entry.
The GREAT Scholarship for Science and Technology (India) will be open to all passport holding nationals of India who hold an offer of a place on a UEA science or technology postgraduate taught degree for September 2024 entry within the following schools:
biological sciences
chemistry
computing science
engineering
environmental sciences
psychology
These scholarships cannot be awarded in combination with any other UEA award.
What does it cover?
There are four scholarships of £10,000 available, one for each country. Scholarships will take the form of tuition fee reduction.
The deadline for application is midnight (GMT) on 30 April 2024.

David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health

The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) offers the prestigious David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health to a limited number of applicants on the MSc in Global Plant Health.
Two types of scholarships are available: The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship and The David Sainsbury 35% Fee Scholarship. All applicants are eligible to be considered for either the full scholarship or the 35% fee scholarship.
The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship
Each full scholarship will cover up to:
the full cost of the tuition fee (£33,150 for 2024-25).
maintenance grant (exact value at the UKRI postgraduate researcher stipend level to be determined for 2024-25; in 2023-24 it was £18,622).
an additional £4,000 for travel costs (subject to valid economy class travel receipts).
Eligibility
You are eligible for a full scholarship under these terms if you meet all these criteria:
You are in receipt of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health.
You are a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country or territory as defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2024-25 academic year.
There are a limited number of scholarships available and these will be awarded throughout the year, so you are advised to apply early.
The David Sainsbury 35% Fee Scholarship
Each 35% fee scholarship will cover up to up to 35% of the full cost of the tuition fee (35% of either £16,800 UK or £33,150 international fees for 2024-25), minus any other awards or scholarships you are in possession of that cover more than 65% of the fee.
Eligibility
You are eligible for a full scholarship under these terms if you meet all these criteria:
You are in receipt of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health.
You are not a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country or territory as defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2024-25 academic year. For example, you are a national of and domiciled in an upper-middle income country or higher income country (including the UK) according to this list.

This scholarship is an automatic award for students who are a national of, or domiciled in Egypt at the time of application.

This Scholarship is offered to students progressing as part of our advertised pathways from Asia Pacific University, Brickfields Asia College, Sunway University, Taylors University and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). It will be awarded based on attainment at the point of entry to UEA and will be issued for each continuous year of study at UEA.
Award amounts are as follows:
£1,500 per annum for students with average of 55% -59%;
£2,500 per annum for students with 60% or above.
Additionally there are two awards of £8,500 per year for the highest achieving applicant to Norwich Business School programmes and to our School of Law.
This scholarship is an automatic award for students who are a national of, or domiciled in Nepal at the time of application.

The Global Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship is an application based award open to those who hold an offer of study at UEA. Our panel sits on a regular basis with submissions of a high quality being offered £4,000 as a tuition fee discount. Successful applicants will be informed shortly after each panel.
This scholarship is designed to reward international fee status applicants who have been offered a place to study with UEA and who can clearly and concisely explain how studying here at UEA will help them to make an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of study as well as the wider UEA community.
The Global Voices Scholarship programme is available to an applicant who has applied for a place on the MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction, Biography and Creative Non-Fiction, Scriptwriting or Poetry in the School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing who is a national of any country within Africa or who was born in any country within Africa.
Total Value : £20,000.

Our holistic and athlete-centred approach to developing performance has showcased success with many athletes competing at age-group and senior World and European Championships, and the BUCS programme rising nearly 20 places in just four years - with many teams dominating the local and regional landscape in their sport. We welcome applications from para-athletes and have a track record of supporting para-athletes on both our UEA Sport Scholarship and Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) programmes.
Our sport scholarship packages offer a range of financial and specialist support services to our student athletes and are offered at three levels: Elite, Excellence and Developing Excellence.
Scholars will benefit from:
Financial support in an individualised financial plan (Elite and Excellence only - up to £1,500 for Elite, up to £500 for Excellence).

Additional free use of training facilities at the Sportspark (facility access to be determined per individual athlete and availability).
Our current performance sports are basketball, football, netball, American football and rugby - but we also pride ourselves on accepting scholarship applications from a wide range of other sports.

If you are an aspiring student athlete playing basketball, football, rugby or netball - either prospectively or currently studying at UEA - we want to support you in your journey to achieve your highest potential both academically and on the sporting field.
