The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is offering two scholarships for overseas students beginning their studies on the BVM&S full-time programme in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Award
Each scholarship is worth £5,000 per year and is tenable for the duration of your degree programme, subject to satisfactory progress.
Eligibility
Applicants must be both a national and a resident of a country outside the UK. Applicants must have been offered a place on the BVM&S full-time programme commencing in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Students already on the programme are not eligible to apply.

Scholarships available to Mathematics students of outstanding ability who have International/EU fee status for the academic session 2023-2024.
Award
The scholarships are worth £5,000 per year and are tenable for the duration of the programme of study, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
A student is deemed to have made Satisfactory Progress in each year if there has been a formal School decision of either “Progress” or “Conditional Progression”, without the student needing to repeat a year. If a student does not make satisfactory progress in any one year, the award will terminate from that point onwards.
Eligibility
Scholarships are awarded to applicants with International/EU fee status who are accepted for full-time admission to an undergraduate degree programme offered by the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.
The scholarship is not available to students already on programme. It is also not available to students studying Mathematics as part of a degree programme hosted by another School within the University.
Applicants should have applied to the University of Edinburgh through the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) but do not need to have received an offer in order to begin the scholarship application process.

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology is offering up to 5 undergraduate scholarships to overseas students beginning their studies in September 2023.
Award
Each scholarship is worth £1,000 and is tenable for one year.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of a country outside the UK and be liable for the overseas rate of tuition fee. Applicants should have applied through the University and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS) to commence an undergraduate programme of study within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The scholarship is not available to students already on programme.

The self-funding element of tuition fee: This is the part which you are personally paying yourself and does not cover the element of tuition fee which is covered by any other scholarship, funding body, your employer, a company, or any another source of funding.
The 10% Alumni (Visiting Undergraduate) Scholarship applies only to the tuition fee element and does not apply to any additional costs such as additional programme costs or research costs.
This Scholarship applies to both home and overseas students, and applies to the self-funding element of the postgraduate degree tuition fee.
The self-funding element of tuition fee: This is the part which you are personally paying yourself and does not cover the element of tuition fee which is covered by another scholarship, funding body, your employer, a company, or any another source of funding.
Please note that for students in receipt of a postgraduate tuition fee loan from Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) or Student Finance Northern Ireland, this fee loan will be paid to the University directly but will be considered as a self-funding element.
Please contact the Fees and Student Support team once you have received your SAAS/SFNI award letter to ensure that the full Graduate Scholarship has been applied to your fee record.
The Graduate Scholarship applies only to the tuition fee element and does not apply to any additional costs such as additional programme costs or research costs.
This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Edinburgh will be offering five scholarships for students, across China, India, Nigeria, Turkey and Vietnam applying for an eligible one-year postgraduate Masters programme for the 2023-2024 academic session.
GREAT Scholarships 2023, launched by theBritish Council's Study UK campaign together with a number of other UK universities, supports students from 18 countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities. The Study UK campaign is offering 150 scholarships from UK universities to students across 18 countries around the world.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 41 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Each scholarship will award an amount of £10,000 which will be deducted from your tuition fees and will be tenable for one academic year.
Eligibility
At the University of Edinburgh, the Scholarships will be awarded to nationals and residents of China, India, Nigeria,Turkey and Vietnamwho are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible one-year on campus postgraduate Masters programme of study. The Business School will offer a number of MBA Diversity Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who enhance the diversity of cultures or perspectives on the Edinburgh MBA.
Diversity scholarships will be awarded from March 2023 onwards.
Diversity scholarships will be awarded to candidates who, while bringing strong academic and work experience credentials, also enhance the diversity of cultures or perspectives on the Edinburgh MBA or EMBA.
Eligibility
You can only apply for a scholarship once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programmes and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so. The scholarship selection panel can only consider your application if you hold an active offer throughout your scholarship application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the scholarship decision deadline you will no longer be eligible).
You will not be eligible for this scholarship if:
You are fully sponsored by your employer
You are in receipt of a full scholarship
You have already accepted a scholarship from the University of Edinburgh Business School
If the applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission to the MBA, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.
Conditions
The scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees.
Scholarships will have to be accepted within a certain timeframe in order to secure your position on the MBA programme and also to secure the scholarship funding.
If you do not accept and pay the required MBA programme deposit within the given timeframe then you will forfeit your scholarship offer. The Business School will then re-allocate this scholarship.
If you receive a scholarship, you will be expected to participate occasionally as an ambassador for the Business School during and after your programme.
Successful applicants enrolled on the Executive MBA will receive half the amount of the scholarship awarded in each of the two years of the programme.
The Business School will offer a number of MBA Leadership Scholarships, each with a value of £10,000, to candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership experience or potential and have at least 7 years work experience.
Leadership scholarships will be awarded from March 2023 onwards.
Leadership Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who:
can demonstrate strong leadership experience or potential
have sound academic credentials
who have substantive work experience, normally of at least seven years.

You can only apply for a scholarship once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programmes and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so. The scholarship selection panel can only consider your application if you hold an active offer throughout your scholarship application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the scholarship decision deadline you will no longer be eligible).
