The University of Liverpool is the original ‘redbrick’ university. A founding member of the prestigious Russell Group, the top 24 research-led institutions in the UK, the University is associated with nine Nobel Laureates. Liverpool is a global university with pioneering partnerships all over the world.

With more than 75% of their graduates achieving a first or a 2:1, it is no surprise that they are one of the top 25 universities in the UK targeted by leading graduate employers (High Fliers 2020). They also offer supported entrance into the UK, and dedicated Careers & Employability advisors for international students, to enhance student success.

Out of the 27,000 on-campus students, more than 8,000 are international and EU students from over 130 countries. The University offers a huge range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across three faculties. 

Many of their undergraduate programmes include a year in industry, and the School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Computer Science offers a number of two-year master’s programmes which include an invaluable year-long industrial placement.
