The Aziz Foundation is awarding full tuition fee Masters scholarships to five exceptional British Muslims, lacking the financial means to complete postgraduate degrees, at the University of Sussex for the 2026/27 academic year. These scholarships aim to empower British Muslims to bring positive change to their communities and beyond.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be eligible for 'Home' fee status

• Be applying for a Masters in Media and Journalism, Sports, Arts and Culture, Sustainability and Environment, Technology, Policy or Law

• Be active within  a Muslim community and demonstrate intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities

• Be Zakat-eligible/in financial need

• Demonstrate excellent understanding of your chosen industry and how to progress witin it, with relevant prior experience and/or achievements in the field

• Demonstrate knowledge of how the course will enable you to generate social impact

• Demonstrate long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain 

• Show how the course will increase your effectiveness in one of the following areas relating to British Muslims: 

Effective Advocacy and Enhance Public Perception – facilitating better representation and contribution of Muslims to civil society to combat Islamophobia and positively transform perceptions of British Muslims 

Community Service and Social Development – raising the aspirations and standards within British Muslim communities

We are pleased to announce that all international applicants, who study a full-time Masters course at the University of Sussex Business School, will receive a £2,000 Award towards their overseas tuition fee.

We want to do our best to make sure that all international students have the opportunity to study at our EQUIS and AMBA accredited school.

£2,000 towards your overseas tuition fee

• £2,000 will be awarded as a fee waiver to all overseas fee-paying students who start a full-time Masters course at the Business school in September 2025.

• You can receive both this Award and apply for scholarships from the University of Sussex.

• The Award will be reflected in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), which you will need in order to apply for your Student visa.

• You will still need to pay a Masters tuition fee deposit once your place at Sussex has been confirmed. Find out more about the Master’s tuition fee deposit.

You will receive the £2,000 Award as a fee waiver when you enrol at Sussex in September. Make sure to accept our offer of a place to study at the University of Sussex Business School before this date.

StudyIn to notify Sussex of their selected students by 17 October 2025. Sussex agrees to make the £1,000 payment by bank transfer to the selected students in January 2026 provided they meet the eligibility criteria set out above and all of the student’s payments due to the University (including tuition fees and any accommodation rental fees) are up to date.

We are pleased to announce that all international applicants, who study a full-time Masters course at the University of Sussex School of Engineering & Informatics, will receive a £2,000 Award towards their overseas tuition fee.

£2,000 towards your overseas tuition fee

• £2,000 will be awarded as a fee waiver to all overseas fee-paying students who start a full-time Masters course at the School of Engineering & Informatics in September 2025.

• You can receive both this Award and apply for scholarships from the University of Sussex.

• The Award will be reflected in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), which you will need in order to apply for your Student visa.

• You will still need to pay a Masters tuition fee deposit once your place at Sussex has been confirmed. Find out more about the Master’s tuition fee deposit.

You will receive the £2,000 Award as a fee waiver when you enrol at Sussex in September. Make sure to accept our offer of a place to study at the School of Engineering & Informatics before this date.
