1. View information on attending universities
Use the SI-UK fair site to determine which universities are attending before the event. You can also view more information on university rankings, courses, and scholarships here.
2. Check the schedule
Check the final schedule before the event to ensure you don’t miss any presentations or talks.
3. Learn about your study options
Spend quality time researching your study options based on your eligibility. It will bring immense benefit to get specialist knowledge rather than the information you can check online. There are over 65,000 courses in the SI-UK database, so have a search and see what you might like to study!
4. Decide which universities to meet
Now you know who is attending, you must decide who to meet. Some booths will be busier than others, and there will not be enough time for everyone to see each other!
5. Make a list of your questions
Be proactive and research thoroughly. Write down five major key points based on the crucial issues for you. You can ask specific questions about your needs and interest in course structure, admission requirements, tuition fee and application deadlines. Remember, representatives will have limited minutes to speak to you.
6. Make sure you know how to get there
Reach the venue in good time, planning ahead what modes of travel you will be taking.
7. Stay open to suggestions
You must be focused and fully prepared to ask your specific questions. Do remain open-minded to new study options, possibilities, or scholarships you might not have previously known.
8. Be transparent with representatives
The attending universities are keen to recruit talented students, and they might have something to offer you. It can be bursaries or scholarships. Let the representatives know your financial needs, too, so they can guide you in the right direction.

Get yourself ready as if to face an interview. You should make an impression on the delegates. So, duly think about your dress choice, appearance, and mannerisms.
