Newcastle is situated in the north-east of England, about four hours north of London by train. The city has a population of around 200,000 and was voted the best city for students in 2011. The famous River Tyne splits the city, with a wide variety of cultural attractions, including galleries, museums, nightlife and shopping, giving students of all types something to see and do. The Metro system which links the university and city also runs out to the sandy beaches of Whitley Bay and Tynemouth.
My counsellor contacted me every day throughout the application process and helped me receive an unconditional offer. I am so grateful to SI-UK and will never forget them. I will study very hard as I feel this is the best reward I can give the whole team.
