Scholarships at Royal Holloway, University of London

Tuition fee reduction of £6,000 in first year of study for students with international fee status.

There are 30 scholarships available for ambitious students who show the potential to be the leaders of tomorrow. 

Am I eligible

• International fee status

• Expected or final A-level grades of AAB or UK and international equivalent

• Hold a current conditional or unconditional offer to study any undergraduate degree at Royal Holloway.

UK-based International Foundation Year courses are also accepted and a list of eligible courses can be found here. Please note that students taking an Integrated Foundation Year will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Cash award of £5,000 for undergraduates studying English.

Five scholarships are available for new undergraduate students studying for a single or joint honours degree in the Department of English (see the full list of eligible courses below).

The Barbara Raw Scholarship is named in honour of a former Royal Holloway student and rewards high-achieving students.

• Achieved, or predicted to achieve high grades in A-level or equivalent. As a guide, previous applicants have achieved, or been predicted, AAA or equivalent.

Ten scholarships are available for international students progressing on to a Royal Holloway undergraduate degree after completing an International Foundation Year at the Royal Holloway International Study Centre (RHISC). 

The scholarship is provided as a £3,000 tuition fee reduction in the first year of study. 

Am I eligible?

You must be an international student with overseas fee status currently studying an International Foundation Year at the RHISC.

You must be classified by the RHISC as 'Green' or 'Amber' in the RHISC Academic Progression Report (RPAG, Red/Pink/Amber/Green).You must also have achieved 85% attendance or above during your International Foundation Year.

You must be self-funded and hold a current conditional or unconditional offer to study an undergraduate degree at Royal Holloway.

Terms and conditions

The scholarship is offered as a £3,000 tuition fee reduction. For full time students, the tuition fee reduction is only available for year one of undergraduate study. No additional payment is offered in any following years if the duration of the programme is longer than one year.

Two scholarships are available to new international students who are currently studying the Royal Holloway BSc Business Administration at an eligible University of London Teaching Centre (see list below). You must be applying for one of the courses listed below. 

This scholarship cannot be combined with the University of London alumni discount.

• Currently studying at one of the following University of London Recognised Teaching Centres offering the Royal Holloway BSc Business Administration:

  • The Millennium Universal College (TMUC), Pakistan

  • Universal College Lahore (UCL), Pakistan

  • LGS International Degree Programme (LGS), Pakistan

  • Denning Law School, Pakistan

  • Escola Superior de Propaganda y Marketing (ESPM), Brazil

  • Universidad de Lima, Peru

  • Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education, Malta

  • Russell Square International College, India

  • University of Seychelles

• Hold a current offer to join Royal Holloway in either Year 2 or Year 3 for any of the following: 

  • BSc Business and Management

  • BSc Management with Marketing

  • BSc Management with International Business

  • BSc Management with Human Resources

• Achieved, or be expected to achieve, an average of 65% in your distance learning studies.
