In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, St George’s University of London is offering 1 scholarship to students in India applying for postgraduate courses.

We are offering a total of 1 scholarship of £10,000 to students from India:

  • 1 x £10,000 Scholarship to a student from India applying to one of the courses below;

Please note: you must be a passport holder of India to apply for this scholarship. 

Courses eligible for the GREAT Scholarship:

  • Applied Biomedical Science MSc

  • Clinical Neuroscience Practice MSc

  • Genomic Medicine MSc

  • Global Health MSc (and pathways)

  • Medical Ethics, Law & Humanities MA

  • Sports Cardiology MSc

Deadline for application to course to be considered for GREAT Scholarship: 1 May 2024.

Eligibility and assement criteria

To be eligible for a scholarship you must: 

  1. Have made an application for one the postgraduate Master’s course listed above, for full-time study, by the deadlines stated above 

  2. Not already be qualified at a Master’s level or above (e.g. PhD) 

  3. Be self-funding your course fees or in receipt of a tuition fee loan (courses funded by the NHS or students receiving employer or sponsor funding are not eligible)  

  4. Have, or be predicted, a 2:1 or above or international equivalent  

  5. Be a passport holder of India
