Scholarships at Study Group

Teesside University offers a range of scholarships for international students who demonstrate academic excellence. The aim of these scholarships is to support students who receive the highest grades prior to joining the University. Students who are applying to study an International Foundation Year programme may be eligible for scholarships upon successful progression to their chosen degree at Teesside University.

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help fund your studies at the University of Huddersfield International Study Centre. To be considered for this scholarship you must not be sponsored by a government, company or organisation. You must also hold an offer to study at the University of Huddersfield International Study Centre.

The Global Scholarship's value may differ depending on region and is offered first come, first served. 

To help fund your studies at Cardiff University International Study Centre, we offer partial tuition fee scholarships. The value of the scholarships may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Eligibility

To apply for a partial tuition fee scholarship, you must hold an offer to study at the Cardiff University International Study Centre and not have a government, organisation or company sponsorship.

This partial tuition scholarship helps fund your study at the Durham International Study Centre and is only available to students who currently hold an offer. The value may differ depending on region and is offered on a first come, first served basis subject to availability.

This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company

• For students from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Vietnam.

• For those holding an offer to study at the International Study Centre.

• Available to completely self-funded and international fee payers only.

To help fund your studies at Kingston University International Study Centre, we offer partial tuition fee scholarships. The value of the scholarships may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

To be considered for a partial tuition fee scholarship, you must hold an offer to study at the Kingston University International Study Centre and not have a government, organisation or company sponsorship.

Note that all scholarships are subject to availability.

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help with your studies at Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Eligibility

You must hold an offer to study at Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.

This partial tuition scholarship helps fund your pathway programme at the Leeds International Study Centre. Students will only be considered for the scholarship if they currently hold an offer for the International Study Centre and are not sponsored by a government, company or organisation. The value may differ depending on region and is offered on a first come, first served basis.

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help with your studies at Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre. These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis subject to availability.

Eligibility 

You must hold an offer to study at Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.  

We offer a number of partial tuition scholarships to help towards your studies at the University of Sheffield International College.

• These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

• You must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield International College to be considered for this scholarship.

• This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government/ organisation/company.

If you have received an offer to study at the University of Surrey International Study Centre, you can apply for our partial tuition scholarship to help fund your pathway programme. You will not be considered for this scholarship if you are sponsored by an organisation, government or company. This scholarship's value may differ depending on region and is offered first come, first served.

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help with your studies at the University of Sussex International Study Centre. These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis subject to availability.

Eligibility 

You must hold an offer to study at the University of Sussex International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.    

This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company. 

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help fund your studies at Royal Holloway International Study Centre. You must hold an offer to study at Royal Holloway International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship. These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis. This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company.

We are offering a number of partial tuition scholarships to help fund your studies at the International Study Centre. You can benefit from this scholarship if you currently hold an offer and are a self-funded student. Please note the following:

• Scholarships are valid for 2025/26 academic year programmes at the International Study Centre. 

• If students are offered with a scholarship for the International Study Centre programme, students need to confirm or conditionally confirm their place within two weeks.

• Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum amount will not always be available, and students are not eligible for multiple scholarships.

• If you're applying directly via our website, please ensure you select the following option "Self or family funded and seeking a partial scholarship from you".

The University of Sheffield International College is offering scholarships of up to £5,000 for students enrolling on our International Foundation Year who show excellent academic potential.

Students will also be eligible to receive a scholarship worth up to £2,500 for each year of their undergraduate degree when they progress to the University of Sheffield.

Terms & Conditions

• Scholarships will be awarded to self-funded students only and will be discounted from tuition fees.

• Scholarships should be requested at the point of application, are subject to availability and made by Study Group in their sole discretion.

We offer partial tuition scholarships to help with your studies at Teesside University International Study Centre. These may differ depending on region and are offered on a first come, first served basis subject to availability.

Eligibility

You must hold an offer to study at the Teesside University International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.

This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company.

Students planning to start their International Foundation Year or Pre-Masters programmes with us at Durham University International Study Centre in September 2025 or January 2026 may be eligible for a joint scholarship.

The scholarship represents a £5,000 reduction in fees for the International Foundation Year or Pre-Masters, and a further £5,000 for every year of degree study at Durham University. Therefore, depending on the type of degree study, you can expect:

• Undergraduate scholarships up to £20,000 (four years in total including the International Foundation Year).

• Postgraduate scholarships up to £10,000 (two years in total including the Pre-Masters programme).

The reduction of £5,000 for the International Study Centre academic pathway programme will be reflected on the International Study Centre offer letter. Please refer to your offer letter for the details - if it is not listed, please contact our Admissions team who will re-issue your offer. Students will then need to meet the progression requirements of their programme and be offered a place at Durham University. A process is in place at the International Study Centre to apply and be awarded the Durham University scholarship. 

If you are a self-funded student and international fee payer, you may be eligible for a joint scholarship for your pathway programme with us at the International Study Centre and your degree study at the University of Strathclyde.

The Global Scholarship represents up to £6,500 for your pathway programme at the International Study Centre and up to £6,000 for every year of degree study at the University of Strathclyde.

Who can apply?

Depending on the pathway and the type of degree study, you can expect:

• Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP): up to £21,000 (four years in total including the pathway programme).

• International Year Two (IY2): up to £16,500 (three years in total including the pathway programme).

• Accelerated Pre-Masters Programme (PMP): up to £11,500 (two years in total including the pathway programme).

• Pre-Masters Programme (PMP): up to £12,500 (two years in total including the pathway programme).

Joint scholarship values

To support the launch of three new pathway programmes, we are offering a number of generous scholarships that you can benefit from to help with your studies.

Eligibility

You must hold an offer to study one of the following programmes at Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship:

• International Year One in Sport and Exercise Science.

• International Year One in Hospitality and Tourism.

• International Year One in Computer Science and Cyber Security.

Scholarships are valid for 2025/26 Academic Year programmes, which begin on or after August 25th, 2025.

This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company.

Upon successful completion of your pathway programme and progression to Leeds Beckett University, you will be eligible for a scholarship to help towards paying your course fees. These scholarships are worth £1000 per year of study at Leeds Beckett University.

Eligibility criteria

• Be assessed as having an 'Overseas or EU' residency status.

• Be assessed to pay the overseas fee.

• Be studying the relevant course full time.

• Be actively enrolled on an eligible course.

• Be a self-funded student, who is paying the full course fee for that year (those students who have their tuition fees paid by a third-party sponsor, employer or government agency will not be eligible).

• Studying that level of the course for the first time (i.e. not repeating any level during that year).

Application

Applications are open until 27 June 2025. You do not need to complete a separate application form to receive the scholarship.

Students who complete their pathway programme (International Foundation Year, International Year One or Pre-Master's) and achieve the required grades, will be awarded a scholarship upon progression to the University of Huddersfield.

How does a merit-based scholarship work?

The University of Huddersfield's merit-based scholarship is determined by the grades you achieve at the end of your pathway programme at the International Study Centre.

The scholarship is awarded each academic year of your course, except for placement years.

You will not need to apply for the scholarship, it will be awarded to all applicants automatically on confirmation of progression grades.

Am I eligible for the progression scholarship?

Please note the following criteria:

• Self-funded applicants only.

• Postgraduate taught programmes only (not available for Masters by Research/Masters with Placement/PhD/Doctorates).

• Not available for placement components.

• Applicants with refugee, asylum-seeker status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK, or those here on dependency visas will not qualify.

The University of Aberdeen is offering students enrolling on a postgraduate level pathway programme at the International Study Centre in May 2025 or September 2025 a £8,000 scholarship for their postgraduate degree at the University. The scholarship is open to students progressing to the University either in September 2025 or January 2026.

Important information

• Students at the University of Aberdeen cannot combine scholarship awards. Successful awardees will receive the highest value scholarship as their total award.

• You do not need to apply separately for the University of Aberdeen scholarship. Your application for study will be automatically checked for eligibility for the scholarship upon successful completion of your pathway programme.

• The scholarship is only open to self-funded international fees students registering for full-time for on-campus courses.

You must hold an offer to study at the University of Aberdeen International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.

Launch award

To support the launch of the new International Year Two in Psychology and Medical Sciences, we are offering a number of generous scholarships that you can benefit from to help with your studies.

Royal Holloway International Study Centre students who successfully complete their pathway programme and progress on to Royal Holloway, University of London, will receive the Royal Holloway International Study Centre Progression Scholarship. The Progression Scholarship is 10% of the student’s first year tuition fees and is to reward students for all their hard work and efforts during their pathway course.

Terms and Conditions 

• The Progression Scholarship is subject to completing the pathway programme at the Royal Holloway International Study Centre and to achieving requisite final grades in the programme studied.

• The Progression Scholarship is only available to self-funded international fee paying students joining Royal Holloway, University of London.

• The Progression Scholarship is only available to students who progress to full time degrees at Royal Holloway, University of London.

• The Progression Scholarship will be applied automatically only to those students who meet the above criteria.

• The value of the award will be 10% of the first year tuition fees only and will be calculated and discounted by Royal Holloway, University of London as part of overall fees due in the first year.

• Where the offer of a Progression Scholarship has been made to a student by Royal Holloway, University of London, who has met the above criteria, it will be guaranteed, including in respect of students who defer their degree place for periods up to 1 year. Subject to that, Royal Holloway reserves the right generally to discontinue the offer of Progression Scholarships at any time.

There are a number of scholarships available to International Foundation Year and Pre-Masters students progressing to the University of Sheffield. These include:

• International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship – offering 75 scholarships worth £10,000 towards the tuition fees for undergraduate degree programmes starting in autumn 2025.

• International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship – offering 75 scholarships worth £10,000 towards the original tuition fee for the postgraduate programmes starting in September 2025.

Students who join an International Foundation Year, International Year One or Pre-Masters Programme can take advantage of progression scholarships. These are available exclusively to students progressing to the University of Surrey from the International Study Centre.

We have a wide range of scholarships available. Scholarships are based on achievements from the criteria listed below.*

These scholarships will be awarded and discounted from your first-year undergraduate or postgraduate fees when you progress to the University of Surrey.

The University of Aberdeen is offering students enrolling on an undergraduate level pathway programme at the International Study Centre in September 2025, November 2025 or January 2026 a £6,000 scholarship for every year of their undergraduate degree at the University.
