In addition to meeting 100 UK universities, students will also benefit from a wide range of different seminars on UK university life. Talks will be held on topics such as applying for a Tier 4 visa, undergraduate study, IELTS and writing a personal statement.

The University of Birmingham and University of Edinburgh will also be giving special presentations on engineering and business.

International student view

SI-UK recently helped Italian student Simone Licciardello successfully receive an offer from King’s College London on a Modern Languages with Management programme. Here is what he had to say:

I remember being very confused every time I thought about university. Was studying abroad possible? What was the advantage of further study? What did I need to do? If I hadn’t seen a SI-UK poster about a University Fair in London, I would not have had a clear idea about my future.

I have been to the Fair twice since then. The first time, despite the fact that I was sceptical, I thought it was worth going because it was free. Once there though I realised it was worth much more than that. The Fair was very well-organised and I had great support from the SI-UK team. I particularly enjoyed the seminars in which I was given essential information regarding the application process for UK universities. Words like ‘UCAS’, ‘Personal Statement’ and ‘IELTS Certificate’ started making sense to me.

However, even though I knew the practical procedures, I still didn’t have any idea of which course I was going to apply for. It took me six months to figure it out and I eventually made my final decision during a second visit to an SI-UK Fair.

On the spot offers and scholarships

If you have the grades to impress the universities in attendance, don’t forget your supporting documents! On the spot offers will be available to students who make their mark, while universities can also let you know if you are eligible to apply for the 100 scholarships also available at the event.

The UK University Fair is the largest of its kind in the UK. Meet over 100 universities this March and register today for free entry.
