Cambridge leads UK universities in Global Reputation Rankings

28 July 2019

Cambridge and Oxford have been named as the most reputable universities in the UK by leading academics following the publication of the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2019.

The Oxbridge pair both finished in the top five, with a total of ten UK universities finishing in the top 100, including University College London (17th), Imperial College London (23rd), London School of Economics (25th), University of Edinburgh (34th) and King's College London (41st) in the top 50.

The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings 2019 are based on the world’s largest invitation-only opinion survey of leading academics, asking scholars to name no more than 15 universities that they believe are the best for research and teaching, based on their own experience.
